Mark Mattner is a PhD candidate in political science and a Trudeau Scholar at McGill University. In addition, he is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University. Mark’s research focuses on local governance and international political economy aspects of oil production in Africa, with a particular focus on the Niger Delta. He has worked on conflict and development issues with the World Bank and UNHCR.
